“It is incredibly important as a community to support survivors of domestic violence, and provide them with resources that support their dignity, safety, and recovery. I am incredibly proud of the work we have done with the Safe Haven Project to accomplish this.” - Mackenzie Friesen, Project Manager
“Thank you to Enactus Okanagan College for their Safe Haven campaign. Their generosity has helped women and children who are victims of domestic violence find safety, connection and hope when they need it most. Providing housing, counselling, and support for these individuals ensures they can take steps forward towards healing and strength and help break the cycle of violence.” -Sydney Feeney, Finance Officer at Archway Society for Domestic Peace
As part of the Safe Haven Project, individuals from Archway also have access to trauma-informed therapy from Connect Counselling & Therapy, made possible by Doane Grant Thornton Foundation and Enactus OC.
